Interpreting SOLAR Return Chart without time of birth or 12 House System

The solar return chart is very simple to interpret, and it is probably the easiest predictive technique to use. The most important thing to remember about the interpretation of the solar return chart is that it can be treated like a natal. If you can interpret a natal chart, then you can interpret a solar return. None of your expertise in natal interpretation will be lost.

When interpreting a Solar Return chart, most astrologers have an area of primary focus. For me, that starting point is the Nodes of the Moon, which indicate the most profound is-sues each of us is working on in this lifetime.

The Nodes of the Moon are not planetary bodies; they are points formed by the Moon's orbit around the Earth intersecting with the Earth's path around the Sun. Read here for more about The NORTH NODE in your yearly Solar return chart

Almost anything you do to a natal can also be done to a solar return. Astrologers have successfully used hemispheric emphasis, elements, modes, asteroids, Sabian symbols, and general interpretation to understand solar returns. Probably almost any astrological technique will yield an accurate interpretation as long as you are willing to work with the technique long enough to become familiar with the manifestation. Observation is the key to understanding new applications.

The major difference between solar return interpretation and natal interpretation is the matter of time. The solar return is a temporary chart, and therefore the action unfolds and proceeds more quickly. You are not dealing with a lifelong pattern, but a manifestation that lasts for approximately one year.

Interpretations are more concentrated since time is compressed. What is seen as a drawn out or intermittent tendency in the natal chart, becomes a prominent issue or theme in the short span of the solar return. Reading the solar return chart like a temporary natal may be a difficult task when you are first starting out.

For Beginner, and for Dummy use, you can also read solar return chart without time of birt or house system
here the method...

SOLAR RETURN CHART BASIC : from first house to 12 house

From year to year, the Sun passes through the Solar return chart in a clockwise direction, falling into every third house for those people who remain in the same location. For example..

Retrograde Planets

Do not pay attention to retrograde outer planets in the solar return. There is about a 50/ 50 chance that the outer planets will be retrograde since they are each retrograde for almost six months out of the year. Generally, if an outer planet is positioned ninety degrees or more after your Sun’s zodiacal placement, and not less than ninety degrees before your Sun’s placement, it will be retrograde. Half of the population will have a retrograde Pluto in their solar returns this year .

Some individuals will have Pluto retrograde in their solar return charts throughout their entire lifetime.

Therefore, consider the retrogradation of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto meaningless in the broad context of solar return interpretation . The interpretation of retrograde Mercury, Venus, and Mars, however, is very important.

ASPECT IN SOLAR RETURN CHART

SUN CONJUNCT URANUS

The Sun conjunct Uranus in the solar return chart suggests that the individual is making or experiencing changes. Changes are usually major and sweeping, though sometimes a series of small changes in rapid succession indicate the shift.

Changes are usually self-initiated and directed, unless a persistent problem or internal restlessness is ignored. When you avoid the obvious need for transition, matters can be taken out of your hands, in which case, you become the passive recipient of the change you sought to evade. Transformations tend to be more disruptive and less controllable the longer you side-step issues and take evasive action.

Changes are more likely to be beneficial when you address the issues at hand, respond proactively, and participate or contribute to the transition occurring.

Change is a part of any solar return year that has the Sun conjunct Uranus. Changes may build up over several years' time or occur quickly with a long recovery period. Since Uranus transits can last for two or more years, you may be at the beginning of the change this year, or near the end depending on whether Uranus is applying to the Sun, separating from the Sun, or the conjunction is exact. If the degree for Uranus is less than the degree for the Sun, Uranus by transit is applying to the Sun and the change is probably about to begin. If the degree for Uranus is higher than that of the Sun, Uranus by transit is separating from the Sun and the change might be nearing completion. If the Sun and Uranus are very close together within one or two degrees, you are probably in the midst of transition.

MOON SQUARE MERCURY

When the Moon is square or opposite Mercury in the solar return chart, emotional input is less likely to be integrated with conscious thoughts. The Moon rules feelings while Mercury rules rational, logical thinking. The house placements in the solar return chart may give you clues as to what you are thinking , what you are feeling, and the arising conflict.

MOON CONJUNCT SATURN

The Moon conjunct to Saturn is associated with emotional control or suppression. For some reason, you cannot or will not emote and share your feelings with others. This may or may not work to your advantage. If you are involved in an important project which you feel must be completed, you can work despite any emotional strain.

Major decisions are made only after careful consideration, and may be associated with some regret, sadness, resignation, or realistic assessment. This is not the time to be emotional, and you must counteract any tendency towards depression, pessimism, or negativity. Accurately evaluate options in order to choose the best one. Dilemmas are possible where there are no good choices, only the least offensive alternative. In some situations, you may have to give up something in order to get something.

For example, suppose you want to move to your own apartment. You wish to move quickly, but the apartment you want to rent might not be available for several months. Do you wait, which would be inconvenient, or settle for something else? In the long run, any delay could be beneficial as Saturn rules delays, patience, and persistence.

MOON SEXTILE NEPTUNE

Moon sextile or trine to Neptune indicates a greater sensitivity to feelings and needs that are not expressed openly yet, bind us all. There is a spiritual, intuitive dynamic associated with Moon sextile or trine to Neptune that can be inspirational and guiding during the year.

Give wisely! Moon-Neptune aspects in the solar return indicate that you are able to help others because you truly understand their situation and feel you can make a difference. You are also able to handle emotional uncertainty by accepting relationships which are not clearly defined, and giving without a guarantee of return. You see insecurity as a natural by-product of your situation. You function during times of uncertainty and handle the insecurities that go with them. You trust that in the end, everything will turn out for the best.

MOON CONJUNCT PLUTO

Not every Moon conjunction to Pluto involves difficult circumstances. Writers, counselors, psychology students, therapists, those in therapy, or anyone focused on a need to understand themselves or human nature can have Moon-Pluto contacts in their solar returns during important years of significant growth. It is a sign of intense internal interaction and awakening.

It is the awareness of the psychological and emotional influences innate to the struggle which is significant. Insight fosters empowerment. Use this time to begin to discover how unconscious drives affect your life, situation, and decisions. A very pleasant reason for being so emotional is an involvement in a new and exciting romantic relationship. All relationships, even those which are established, are subject to change and new insight. Domestic and family situations are also in the process of changing. The family size may increase or decrease as babies are born or grown children move out. Moving, planning to move, or home renovating is also possible.
